Over the years, my political opponents have attempted to say that I was somehow “just a housewife from Johnstown” to dismiss my professional work outside the home. Too often, it’s the same attitude self-proclaimed ‘experts’ use when moms and dads care enough to get involved in their kids education or health care decisions. And when people who are “just taxpayers” stand up against high taxes and reckless spending, I guess we’re all just acting out of ignorance or selfishness, aren’t we?
Friends, it’s time all of us “just a…” citizens tell Washington, “That’s enough!” The campaign to give families a seat at the table in the U.S. Senate begins today.
